Now it's time for youtube to stop showing "corn" on videos! 😒

The scam was the final straw for me. I already hated Honey for failing to net me any actual savings.

I'd say Google is working to protect themselves from possible arguments that they hold some liability.

I’m a virtually small YouTuber. Because of my niche I don’t get many sponsors. However, even when I do, I’m skeptical. I’ve only really taken 1 sponsorship before and there was an issue with them delivering what they promised to one of my subscribers. JUST ONE! After that, I wasn’t feeling it. When people say “mind the company you keep” this is why. Everyone wants a quick buck that ends up being more expressive in the long run 💎

I doubt Youtube/Google will continue down this advertisement take-down path. They should at least remove ads that lie about their products, which is a huge majority.

At least they're doing something I that this continue in the future. Also it's ok for the slow uploads just take your time and I hope everything is going well.

So, first off. No need to apologize for the idea burnout, DH. Slow days all the time and it takes a while for things content-worthy to come up. Second off, I'll give props to Youtube for finally addressing some of the situations happening but, they still have a long way to go in clearing things up. Keep up the awesome work, dude.

If I ever become a big YouTuber, I'd rather do some research on the sponsorships as many of them end up becoming hated by viewers.

I'd argue that this policy change doesn't go far enough. Say I click an affiliate link of a creator, and an extension like Honey *does* find a valid coupon code. If, at that moment, Honey replaces the affiliate link code with its own in the background, they can argue that it "provided a benefit" to me and therefore doesn't violate the new terms. Creators could still be shorted money. But who knows? Maybe the damage is already done, and people won't return to the likes of Honey.

Unfortunately the new Google policy still doesn't stop changing out affiliate links when Honey _does_ find a coupon to use and prefers its own over the existing affiliate link...

YouTube (Google) didn't fix it if Honey's still permitted to replace a pre-populated affiliate link cookie with their own.

Now, it's time for them to stop giving me so many porn ads

Please REMEMBER this didn't JUST affect the influencers who promoted it but All sellers whose sales were rerouted through their app/extension

Many Rightful Google Workers have been Fired by Google Staff, then Replaced them with Prohibitionists.
"I VOTED FOR PROHIBITION!" said Susan Wojicki, who has been Fired from Her Position of YouTube CEO by the Front Man of the Google Staff.

Prohibition affects AdBlockers in Major Chromium-Based Browsers... Well, Except Firefox, Which is NOT Chromium-Based.

You're once of the most consistent and concise channels on here, thanks for talking about this even after the algorithm has moved on to a new trend
