What I’ve noticed that’s a really great touch is Ghost reversed the lyrics’ perspective. The original was talking about the phantom in the third person; whereas Tobias sings as if HE’S the phantom. So cool.

Ghost will typically release a full length album of original music, have a tour cycle, release an EP of covers, do more touring, then release a full album. Tobias is very consistent in how he does things. He has years planned out in advance.

Iron Maiden wrote this song. It's on their debut album! Ghost moved it up a notch. Different key. The bass slays! It's in D. Iron Maiden wrote it in the key of Em. Superb mixing on the Ghost recording.

This is a great cover. Never heard it before but i loved it. They do Maiden justice. I wasn't sure if the solos would hold up but they were great. Great reaction as always. I love your perspective on music as an old composer. Best reaction channel out there.

I Ghost. Been following them since their second album. Their older stuff is more up my alley, but this one, and like Call Me Little Sunshine are A+++

Call Me Little Sunshine reminds me almost of Alice Cooper if you haven’t heard that!

Ghost is releasing a covers EP tomorrow called Phantomime. They're covering Genesis, The Stranglers, even Tina Turner 😳As a metalhead, this cover of "Phantom" is so damn good and makes me hopeful for music's future when they pay homage to the past.
