The boys at Thumb Trailers are awesome! Maybe now that you’re not paying for my lunch we can get Taco’s?? All great suggestions on improvements. 👍TCT

I like how you always buy top of the line equipment for your business.

I do the same, buying garbage is not a good plan. I like things that last!💪💪

Great looking trailer!! I have a PJ and Big Tex, both have crappy places for lights and tags!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day

Awesome that Thumb covered the crappy battery and a little extra too for Tony and the cats. Still -10 on the other side of the Big Lake.

Excellent review on the dump trailer. I agree that it's a good quality unit and it seems to serve you well. I notice you never miss a chance to throw shade at Tony. This video was a tease to us northerners with the shots of bright green grass.

Great customer service! If I ever get to that point where i need a trailer like that, it would be worth the drive to Thumb's.

My son just bought their 7 x 16 14, 000 pound over in New Hampshire. Very impressive!

Also: the hitch height can be adjusted so it fits your truck easily and you don't need a drop hitch. Really nice trailer, deserves a wash to get rid of some of the salt!

Thanks for the awesome trailer review. Seems like you bought the best available. Based on yesterday’s video I thought we were going to see the palleted wood bin construction. 😊. I know, plans change👍. Wonder if when filling the bin, if you will use the trailer dump into the tractor front end loader bucket to fill the bin. (Instead of hand chucking to fill the bin). Once the bin is filled to the front loaders capacity, then utilize the elevator to fill the bin higher with a middle peak(cone). Looking forward to seeing that. Goodnight Irene.

Hi Chris great trailer. You probably did this to see if we were paying attention and make us watch the whole video. I noticed you used a segment of a previous video in the beginning and end where the trailer only had single course of wood sides. I am sure my prize for pointing this out is a video to watch tomorrow morning at 5:30 AM. Have a good day.

That is a nice trailer, being galvanized it will last for ever. I was debating making the 10 hour or so trip to get one but mine wont see salt very often if at all so decided to shop local, well, 2 hours away lol. I bought a 16ft Big Tex 15gvw and its overkill but I can haul anything I'll ever need to haul but wish mine was gravity down like a dump bed insert I have and that thing goes down (empty) in about 5 seconds and this Big Tex is painfully slow. I can easily get 2 cords loosely thrown in and with our leaf box on it, it can hold about 30 yards of leaves when we're doing fall clean ups. The only drawback to a dump trailer is they all sit so low and need a lot more room to dump stuff specially compared to even a small dump truck but definitely a useful tool too have.

Chris I have the same trailer going on 3 years of ownership absolutely love it. I haul it flawlessly with a 3/4ton diesel. Teloskop is the only way to go. I have accidentally had 5.8 tons of 3/4 inch clear stone on mine and it didn't hesitate

Chris, I like some of the features on that trailer, very nice. You might want to get a tire cover for the spare, it helps the tire from cracking sitting in the sun. Stay safe.

I really like your N&N trailer! The front lift is the way to go and the galvanizing will keep the rust away if they did it right. But wow, $13K!! That's about $3-4K more than I expected. That gave me a little sticker shock. My Dad and I went in together and bought a Lawrimore 12' dump. It was built really well, but some of the engineering was not quite right on it. I always thought that the axles were about 10-12 inches too far forward... if you got a load of rock from the quarry, and the loader operator didn't really bias the majority of the scoop of rock toward the front of the trailer, it could really get to be a handful. And then, you really had to watch it too, because I think they had the scissor lift too far back... if you had too much on the front of the trailer, it wouldn't dump. I had a few instances where I had to unload about the first 1/3 of the load by hand to get it to dump. We sold that trailer about 2 years ago, and bought a PJ 12' dump. So far it has been great. The axles are back where they should be, and I haven't had a load yet that the scissor lift couldn't dump. It tows like a dream, you really can forget it's back there. Really happy with the PJ.

Thanks for sharing this Chris. I remember when you bought that. Very nice trailer. There's a dealer near me that has some galvanized trailers sitting out front. I'm not ready to buy one yet so I'm afraid to stop in and look. Soon though. 😀

Chris. Great customer service and a great review of the trailer. Over a ten year period of time, not counting leap years, your trailer will cost $3 56 per day. That does not budget for PM or daily maintenance. Peace of mind that there are no worries about what is going to bust next. This trailer should not be a money pit but a money maker.
