The empirical roll:
1) Roll all your d20, discard the half that roles poorly
2) repeat (1) until only one die remains
3) Roll the last die "for real this time"
4) Get killed for critically failing
5) Toss all your dice for failing you
6) Buy new dice
7) return to (1)

I know a guy who literally never touches his dice. He rolls by using a pencil to nudge his dice off the table to land in a cup, then rolls like Liar's Dice. He does the same when putting them back into their bag. He has AWFUL LUCK, and touching the dice makes them roll badly. I fully believe that his bad luck is real, because he once pranked me by sticking his hand into my dice bag and rummaging around to touch as many of them as possible. I rolled badly for the next six months, and haven't forgiven him yet.

The continuous roll: you roll continuously the dice you know you will need until the DM says "roll" then you stop and check in fear. 😂

Terrible roller: For some reason the dice doesn't bounce at all and just sorta slides in place leading to an intense anticlimax

I'm the "dice chooses the master" type roller. At the beginning of the session I roll every d20 I own, then remove any below 10. Then reroll the remaining ones. Repeat until 1 die remains. That die has chosen.
