Warner Bros. Pictures presents a new experience in the world of M. Night Shyamalan—“Trap” —featuring performances by rising music star Saleka Shyamalan.

A father and teen daughter attend a pop concert, where they realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event.

Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, “Trap” stars Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills and Allison Pill. The film is produced by Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock and M. Night Shyamalan. The executive producer is Steven Schneider.

The director of photography is Sayombhu Mukdeeprom (“Call Me by Your Name”). The production designer is Debbie de Villa (“The Hating Game”). It is edited by Noëmi Preiswerk and the music is by Herdĭs Stefănsdŏttir (“Knock at the Cabin”). The music supervisor is Susan Jacobs (“Old”); the costume designer is Caroline Duncan (“Old”). The casting is by Douglas Aibel (“Asteroid City”).

Film might suck, Shyamalan can be all over the place tonewise. But this is one great trailer.

Did you know this is loosely based on real events.

Back when the zodiac killer was on his spree someone came up with an idea to made a movie about the zodiac and stage a screening Argo style in San Fran in the hope he would show up.

The way the trap was meant to work is i think their was some sort of prize they had set up and the person had to fill out a form and put it in a box. Little did they know where was a hand writing expert inside the box that would compare the handwriting of the zodiac to that of the person who dropped the form in the box.

Im excited but i have a couple questions:
1. How do the police know the killer will be there? If his identity is uncompromised then how could someone know that the killer will be there?
2. Why is the butcher's first instinct to cause chaos? Why would it not be to just blend in? If the police were to search him, is he carrying conclusive and incriminating evidence with him that would link him to the crimes?

I had no idea that was Josh hartlett, however to me it looks as if he is the killer, but we all know that the writer of this movie as with any of the other ones will never cease to amaze us with that being said I can't wait to see it!

The serial killer is the guy in the basement. Josh is a vigilante hero, who captured the killer, but didn’t want to waste the concert tix. 😂

Plot twist….this isn’t really a movie with a plot. His daughter just wanted to have the concert she wouldn’t have otherwise
