I miss this style of Fire Emblem. Don't get me wrong the new games look fine but the sprite art and animations on the GBA and SNES were superb. I can't get enough of it.

The newer games look good, but they don't have walking tanks casually spinning a weapon the size of their enemy before throwing it into their enemy's chest and pulling back via chain.

NES Fire Emblem had stiff, undynamic battle animations. SNES brought more fluidity and freeform reactions to make a sort of realism. GBA went back to undynamic positioning, but kept the creativity and funneled it all into the attack poses, which let them read perfectly on the small screen, too.
