Difference between Star and Delta Connection

As we know that Star & Delta Connection only possible in 3 phase system, so in our domestic system it is not possible, because generally all house hold electrical equipment are designed with single phase supply. In a three phase circuit, there are two types of connections. One is known as Star Connection, and the other one is Delta Connection.

Your last point is incomplete and wrong. For transmission, secondary winding of the transformer must be in delta. For distribution, secondary winding of transformer must be in star form so that neutral phase can be provided during household distribution.
