I was recently in Norway. 2K in my account is no big deal for me. I'm in Panama so Brazil is just a short flight away. The cheaper ticket, has a layover in Bogota. I'm considering going to Brazil for a week later in the year.

Hey there Andres. Happy New Year. Welcome back home, I trust your time in Norway was wonderful if not cold. Remember that video you made about the shower heads here? Haha. I was using the shower here a few weeks back. The little hose popped off and whammo. Got a 220v Jolt from the solid stream of water. Good times. Hopefully this year I can make it up to your neck of the woods. Have you changed anything at the Pousada? Give us another video tour. Be well. Stay safe.

No sir. The reciprocal visa requirement for Americans and Australians to Brazil is not remotely comparable or fair. How many Brazilians overstay visas in the US and Australia versus the other way around? How many Brazilians have immigrated to those two countries versus the other way around?

I feel like this is a good thing. Because it will limit the foreigner travel ruining their culture. Like what is going on in Medellin currently. I saw in real time what happen to Medellin. Only the people that is really dedicated to their Brazil travel will go.

R$100 per day
This law also changes the fine for overstaying on a tourist visa from R$8.28 per day to R$100 per day, maxing out at R$10, 000.

I had the non-pleasure of engaging lawyers to process my Permanent Residency by Spouse Visa. I did not realize until they had dragged their feet for over 7 months, that they had NEVER contacted the Federal Police. I had an overstay fine of a few days but it should have stopped when they started working with the Federal Police on my Visa. Unfortunately since they never did the fine is now at 300 days. It's not cheap, but I am glad to see it maxes out at R$10, 000😎
