Earl Nightingale was born March 12, 1921 in Long Beach, California, & died March 25, 1989.
Earl's early life met with many great challenges. His father, Earl the 4th, abandoned him & his mother in 1933, where his mother then relocated them both to a poor residential area in Long Beach known as Tent City.
As a small boy, Nightingale was curious as to why his family was living the way they did, while others were living so lavishly. In finding the answer to his question, he would visit the public library where he studied the world's religions, the greatest philosophies & psychology.
