Right off the bat allow me to say that I highly appreciate your fanatic devotion to all things Division lore! I was captured by Division 1 storyline and the unbelievable effort on behalf of Ubi to provide literary depth to the game and it seemed as if we were on track to maybe have a cult-like gamer base like but alas, they drove a stake through its heart. R.I.P. Aaron Keener! Have a great weekend, everyone! got some top tier surf conditions here for today and then back to raising some Hell in Night City 2mrra

Would love to see a survival mode again like in division 1. That was such a badass mode that I sometimes go back to just play once in a while if there's still anyone in the servers. As far as where the story goes from here it's kinda hard to tell since we're still dealing with black tusk (Natalia) first. Personally I'd like to see them focus on Calvin the secretary of homeland in the next installment as the main antagonist. There's still not much is known about his capabilities and the hunters under his command are badass to encounter. I'm honestly excited and hope they knock it out the field in the next game.

Thank you and all others channel creators for coming up with new videos and stuff about Division universe.

I agree a lot with your suggestions. Replayability has to be high. Whether that means that missions don't play the same each time you go through them, or something else. Seasons are all well and good, but as you say they're a bit dull between each story part. Something that would keep moving things forward would be ideal.

And I agree completely on the tunnel vision. Another creator was asking what people would like and so many wwre saying it has to be NYC in the snow. Why? That's been done. There are so many more stories to tell. Other big cities in the US, or even Europe. Although how The Division would work in Europe I have no idea since it's an American organization. But still, there are so many stories to tell in so many other parts of the country. Unique locales like LA or SFO.

I agree that there was a very different atmosphere to The Division 2 than the original game, but it is so much better graphically. But it also didn't make a lot of sense to how we seemed to have things on the right track at the end of the story missions in The Division only to be fighting to survive in TD2. What happened? How did we get there? Obviously the WONY story played a part, but it seemed like The Division as an organization was on the back foot well before then. And while the story of TD2, which is actually pretty good even if most people have forgotten it years later, is about rebuilding DC, there is that gap in explaining how things got from A to B.

In some ways I'd like TD3 to take a parallel timeline somewhere else, rather than necessarily being set in the future. Although I guess thats harder. I suppose we'll see, but the outspoken content creators need to STFU if it doesn't happen to be their favourite scenario. Don't poison the universe before it even comes out.

The one thing that we can infer is that someone out there has a story and a concept for TD3 and it was pitched to and accepted by Ubisoft. Yes, the team won't really get building in earnest until next year when Star Wars Outlaws comes out, but there are likely already people working on concepts. Maybe Julian himself solicited stories from Lauren and art from people we know to make the pitch - because something must have happened for the announcement to be made. I hope, anyway. The worry is that Ubisoft saw Heartland and Resurgence heading in different directions and in dire need of someone to bring things back on track. Time will tell.

The exciting thing was that they implied there were more projects than just the ones we know of. And Julian said its only early in the history of the setting. So hopefully much more to come!

Love your videos, mate. But keep that youngwr brother away from your wife. Definitely don't need her trading up to a younger model! (Use soap and deodorant. It helps!!)

As someone in the cod community no truer statement has ever been said than the one you said about the content creators not really being much help but i could probably go on a huge rant about it all and nobody wants that but im super hyped about all this and id love to see your ideas on what a division 3 game could be like also loving the more comedic little portions of your videos

Heartland just got the axe. Hoping that means all effort can go into 3 rather than meaning that it's going to be next on the chopping block.

Focus groups centered on "actual, die-hard fans" and NOT content creators is a nice dream...but it'll never happen. They want people in the limelight with lots of eyes on them that can/will put lots of those eyes on their projects; sadly, that's just the way it'll probably always be. As for a return of State of the Game - hell yes! We as a community need this! Like you offered, maybe not every week (that would disappoint players like it did in the past when weekly streams had nothing content or update-wise to offer), and I'm not sure even monthly would be worth it; every 2-3 months would suffice.

Along the lines of community engagement with State of the Game... how about a return to the engagement we enjoyed during the OG Division and early Division 2 days; Agent Highlights - showcase positive-vibes agents in various fields of the community like cosplay, fan creations (songs, fanfictions, visual art, physical art like dioramas, homemade action figures, you remember all the cool stuff players used to make), maybe, yes, even streamers and content creators, active and dedicated players over different medias like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, other media sites...throw out the occasional t-shirt or patch or game and/or DLCs giveaway...remember when Matt Shotcha used to hold those POI scavenger hunts? Even without any prizes to earn, the community went wild and poured HOURS into the game to run around town looking for Matt's requested statue or graffiti!

Long story short(er)...the players aren't going to want to engage with you (the devs) OR your games...if you (the devs) come off as not wanting anything to do with the players. Transparency - even if you have no news to give the players...still BE SEEN!

(edit) I get it, visibility by the team waned during the pandemic for obvious and good reasons...but, what has been the reason for the CONTINUED invisibility...? I don't think there is a good one...

Firstly, bloody good to see your head in the vid mate.
Secondly, if they don't get you onboard in some capacity I'm gonna be BIG mad!!
Thirdly, I love the additions you've suggested. Personally I love to see a return to something closer to Div1. Not really sure how to explain it, but it just felt more organic while playing. the investigations, drone collections, etc. For me the story telling was the best part. Would love to see a return to that type of gp structure.

And Yannick!!!

It's been a while since I stopped by NGN, Never miss your updates in my feed, I love the Division franchise & UBI has gold on there plate for a "live service" game. I'd imagine it's hard to balance game, hardcore players, casual, shareholders & long term, all at once. THE Division franchise should be here to stay for a while! I'm all for it. Such a rich world/lore with many build & game mode opportunities possible. Maybe a good season a month then paid content once a year?
CHEERS!

If there’s going to be a new endgame faction like Black Tusk again, I hope they don’t spoil it with a whole fucking trailer, that scene with Ellis saying “Target any Division agents with extreme prejudice.” would’ve been enough.

Everything you said and suggested was spot on mate, they need to take what worked well from both Div 1 & 2 to make Div 3 a truly unique experience that the player base will rush back to on release, hopefully they powers that be let Julian & his new team have free reign over the project to make the game us players want to play

Player options regarding callsigns is something id like to see akin to fallout 4 or forza horizon 4.
Fully voiced common callsign/nicknames other than "AGENT"

I seriously hope Julian includes Yannick. Yannick added so much for division!
