Keller Portugal Moita Stone Columns

Keller has just finished the geotechnical works on the new logistic platform of ALDI-Portugal located in Moita, 30 kms south of Lisboa. The works include aprox. 6700 stone columns with up to 16 m depth, in an area of c.a. 50.000 m2, and have been performed with Vibrocat® rigs, these ones designed and built by Keller specifically to perform stone columns using electric depth vibrators, thus following the most suitable methodology for the performance of this soil treatment solution. Also 82 un. precast displacement piles were performed, using Juntann latest model rigs.
