if it still doesnt work try deleting from %appdata%/roaming/Xfer

that file causes error, delete and try locating it again, even if you delete it'll automatically detect :)

I had the same problem, this didn't work. After hours of trial and error i found the solution: If you load serum and you get the error, try to find the menu button on the right top corner. Then browse to 'Show serum preset folder' Serum then shows you where it is trying to find the folders. Then you have to put all the folders that are in your serum preset folder seperatly in that destination (so Noises, skins, tables etc). Then serum can find em again!

Try this, I spend two hole fucking days trying to figure it out
Copy the Xfer folder with custom presets and locate
paste the Xfer folder there and then reopen serum

So I found out a solution for this bug (maybe only for myself, but hear me out). First, I uninstalled all serum files and presetes and then installed the new version, and it finally fucking works. Try this yourself and write did it help you. :)

Hey my dear fella, ain't nothing will work out on this corrupted platform. I will tell you how to fix it. First uninstall the plugin and run the setup, click next, next, select the location of the folder if you want or otherwise leave it then click next, now at the components select the option "xfer serum factory presets" and that's all finish remaining installation.
