I'm passionate about an approach to organic gardening that is frugal, easy, sustainable, and works with nature to achieve amazing results. My videos will help you grow more healthy organic fruits and vegetables, while working less and saving money. I don't push gardening products. I don't hype bogus "garden secrets". I provide evidence based strategies to help you grow a lot of food on a little land without spending much or working harder than you have to!

Its great that your city allows you to have a front yard garden

I like that you 'landscape' your edibles in the front yard, making it aesthetically pleasing, not just raised beds in your front yard. Even the plants you chose are attractive and if you weren't a gardener probably wouldn't know they were edible. Great job!

The cat seems happy to have a bushy place to roam around.

I liked that instalment! We don't have any space to waste either, so I put a little herb garden right outside our front door. It has lovage, marjoram, parsley, basil, thyme, sage, rosemary, chives and dill. Further along the path I have five black current bushes. If anyone asks it's all strictly ornamental😂! You are much kinder to Swallow tail worms 🐛 than I am!

Beautiful front garden! So much prettier and more productive than a boring lawn. And better for the environment. Great job.

Really inspiring... If we all try to give Little efforts, we can get fresh and organic veggies. Definitely it will be good for our health and at the same time we can discourage those who grow veggies for commercial purpose & mostly laden with harmful chemicals.

So interesting to see how your soil differences result in different types of success we both have. A wonderful tour of the FYG. Thanks.

Hi Patrick and Oscar!
Half of our front yard i am growing foods to eat. Looking and observing on where we live we are the only ones that grow foods in the front yard and I hope that many will follow soon. Our neighbors have a grass lawn and we had removed ours a year ago now replaced it with pea gravel. Now I use the water to grow foods we can eat.
Oscar is a sweetheart . Does he ever know he has fans in YouTube too? I’m his #1 fan. Thank you for sharing your talent.

I like the fact that you grow plants in grow bags that need higher temperatures. I grow some cactus plants on black weed control plastic to increase temperature. I too grow ornamental plants in the front yard.

Very nice front yard, like that you left some ornamental's too. I think its important to feed the soul (and wildlife too) as well as our bodies. We recently put garden beds in half the front yard (other half is a septic field). We too have a semi-shady back yard. It's amazing what a sunny location can grow.
