I see what you mean man, found a amazing zinfandel from alexander valley vineyards in CA 2017 vintage been on sale for 10$ I done broke the bank on it went thru like 9 bottles lol

Uncertain what I tasted in a Beaujolais last night..it tends to be a light wine from Gamay grape in France and some our quite 'fruity'. Much prefer them or a Cote de Rhone than heavy and often poor Bordeaux.
