The global version of this mid-range Android smartphone sadly scales down the power, with a lesser Dimensity chipset running the show. I did see some judders and shakes here and there, especially when playing games like Genshin Impact on higher graphics. Still, you can get gaming on the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G if you drop the settings.

Battery life is an absolute highlight, while ColorOS serves up quite a few good AI features. Website summary, photo editing, etc - all familiar, but well implemented. And the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G's camera is on the whole dependable too. Occasionally it's foiled by bright light or movement, but otherwise good stuff.

Just got the Reno 12 pro. For any normal phone user this phone is exceptional. Ignore the comments about the "chip set" it works brilliantly. And the battery life is absolutely insane. Highly recommend this phone!

Wow, the Reno 12 Pro looks amazing! That AI Portrait Camera has me seriously considering an upgrade. I think the Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset seems very interesting one in terms of the performance.

The best part is that it’ll be considerably cheaper than the Samsung Ultra & the IPHONE ProMax.😅

Wow the Reno 12 is out and I'm still rocking the original Reno (10X Zoom). Disappointed that there is still a front facing camera; I've been waiting out for a phone with an under the display camera as I've been spoiled by the Reno 10X Zoom's pop up camera.

I reckon it must be hard to review mid rangers - almost harder than flagships. While the likes of Apples iPhones are hardly distinguishable (if at all) these days - and the Samsungs also regress to offer progress only in a miniscule scale. Midrangers used to be a bit more daring .. (the Galaxy A80 with its swivel camera, the many pop-up, slide up or turn around cameras, the popping colours and overall design like the Essential phone, the HTC U Ultra with sapphire screen etc. ) - but these days, the mid rangers look interchangable and overall ... quite boring, too.

Like everything Oppo and oneplus, it's a very nice design. They did a nice job of making the bezels nearly disappear. Although, I do prefer a curved display over a flat screen.

I have now oppo reno 6 pro 5G gaming version. waiting for delivery oppo reno 12 pro 5G. I love my reno 6 pro. And i can't wait for new one. I always was big fan of sony. unfortunatly now they don't have interesting model. Oppo is made on sony components so this is why they have very good product

Gorgeous looking phone. A 6.1 incher would have been a banger. Autofocus in Selfie shooter is a great plus. Ois would have been icing on cake. Only downside is that 50mp zoom sensor wasted for just 2x zoom. 3.5x zoom would have been right
