Based on another comment about Rachael being a poor tipper… I did the math and it turns out that she wasn’t a bad tipper in this episode. Hilton Head has a 2% sales tax on restaurant food and drinks. I did the math, and calculated the actual tip, plus the total percentage. She tipped 19% for all three meals, and 24% for the cocktail. That’s more than fair in my book, and I was a long time barista, server, and bartender, so I feel like Im speaking from experience. I’ve only done the math on this episode though, and other episodes do seem to have stingier tips, but I’d need to know what local taxes are to really sus out the percentage.

Meal, tip amount, and tip percentage:

Breakfast
$8.30 - $1.58 - 19%

Lunch
$8.99 - $1.71 - 19%

Cocktail
$5 - $1.20 - 24%
Dinner
$9.98 - $1.90 - 19%

Can you imagine having a breakfast that decadent? For less than $8? In 2024? The fruit alone would cost you that much.... frozen. lol

Holy moly! I can't believe I missed out on such a great series! You think there's any chance of a Archive (Wayback Time Machine) dump of all these episodes? I'd love to archive the series outside of YouTube, since YouTube tends to compress the quality if you rip from their site. It's great for viewing, but not the best for archiving and preserving.
