I think its on the bottom part of the ps3 slim. there's something you can pop out then the blue screw is there, take out the screw and the hard drive cover (along with the hard drive itself) slides out from the side of the PS3 slim.

I think it's much better in that department, and even though it looks cheap it's actually much harder plastic I'm sure than the glossy on the original, it's like the original PS2's plastic quality-wise but probably even better.

I've seen what used PS3's look like on Ebay and such, even if you clean it often you will still always see a lot of dust in it (specially in pictures) and a lot of fingerprints which sometimes never go away.

Had my co worker buy my 360 from me and I bought a PS3 Saturday. Loving what the PS3 offers. 360 is not a bad system, I owned it but I feel I'm getting more value for my money here. I had already gone through two 360's that failed and didn't want go through it again for a 3rd time, another reason why I got a PS3 slim.

@Cavaliso The fat 80GB model became $299 right before the Slim was launched. Backwards compatibility can be done by just a software update, so that won't cost them much more money. Linux is also in the software. Touch sensitive buttons and shininess maybe would have cost them some, but it's not that expensive either.

ya u can. they offer the same price at in canada and usa. i only checked at bestbuy for now. but im sure they offer the same price at all stores.

I've been wondering, should I keep the Power cable plugged into the PS3 while it's off or should I remove it?

This question applies for all the consoles such as Wii, PS2, XBox360, etc.

You guys had the PS3 slim right your hands and still couldn't find the HDD. I'm sure you know by now but FYI it's right there under the disk drive...
