I have the ME372CG Fonepad 7 for about a month now, using it as a tablet and as a mobile phone mainly.  I have to say that the system (upgraded to KitKat v4.4.2) is very slow regarding other mobilephones and tablets I used in the past and the automatic rotation of the screen delays more than I would like to.  Screen and battery are great and the cals are handled perfectly (ASUS UI is one of the best in the market indeed) but there is a lot of lag during working between the opened apps.

What control do you have in the setting to stop incurring unnecessary data charges?

now as kitkat has released for it have you updated, if yes what is your experience ???..& unique floating app feature & it's apps are gone and also the nice aolink media app ...is it worth losing such feature's??

Which one is better out of ME175CG and ME372CG? I have more or less narrowed it down to these two.

yes the original,
 it has no rear camera, and this 372  model here was only releasedofficially  on 1 july14 thanks for the reply Alan

I think Asus fonepad 7 is amazing. I cant seem to find ANY other tablets that can use SIM cards for calling/texting etc. If anyone knows of some models that do support the same features... please let me know
