Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Man the relationship and the separation of Zach and the 8RX even brought a tear to my eye. I hope John Deere has a reaction to this and decides to give you an 8RX just because of the great work you do as an Ambassador to the Green Machines.

That actor playing Zach Johnson has indeed tremendous emotional range. I was totally gripped at the end there.

Hey Zach, when you and John Deere teamed up and gave Farm Rescue 5k each, it inspired my wife and I to give $500.00 to them. There are going to be a lot of farms that will need Farm Rescue's help because of Covid-19, especially livestock farmers who are having to euthanize animals that can't be harvested. Keep up the good work and good luck this growing season!

I nominate Zack for an Emmy nomination for 2020! What talent, to be able to portray such emotions that we also cry!

Love watching your channel. I am a former farmer who, out of necessity made a major life change in 1979. Left the farm in Minnesota, got married, and moved to the Seattle area. Worked construction until the economy out there died. Went back to school and got a degree in electronics, and moved back home to Minnesota and went to work for a hospital in South Dakota. We bought an acreage on the home farm where we still live today. I kind of live vicariously through your channel. Love your machinery trials and hope you will be able to continue to do them. Best wishes to you and your beautiful family.

Love that you put the 8RX next to the MM. It's insane how far farm technology has come in a relatively short amount of time.

And the acting award goes to the Tractor for keeping so stoic during such a dramatic ending.

Zach's Bach. I'm using both of my 15 minute breaks to watch with 14 seconds to do whatever I want to.

“If he sells it, I’m going to have to buy it.” Well, dad, looks like a great chance to make a ton of money but keep the tractor in the family. LOL

I'm gonna miss that beautiful piece of high tech agriculture engineering in your videos.
A extremely appreciative shout out to the John Deere folks for letting you use it for this planting season.

Oh my goodness the acting when bringing the tractor back was amazing. Really made my day along with all the clips over music. Thank you for that.

My son (6 years old) loves to read John Deere dealership books as bedtime stories. Tonight he told me he wants to read a Zack Johnson book. I told him I would ask you to write a book. 🥰 let me know when you get that done, he will be impatiently waiting! You are his farming idol! You should do some shoutouts to kids on your videos. His name is Bryson Medd from Brucefield Ontario.

I'm not crying, you're crying. Best line in your video!! I laughed quite loud. As a town kid in North Dakota, I was extremely fortunate to go out to my grandparents farm and experience life as a farm kid. I have thoroughly enjoyed your videos.

You are a genuine LENGEND my friend. Even I had a tear in my eye watching that montage at the end.
Every farming friend I have recommended to watch your videos has ended up subscribing to your channel.
Out of the 53 subscribed YouTubers I follow, you are by far at #1, you have a unique talent that is worthy
of recognition with an award of some sort.
Keep up with the excellent content and stay safe.

That was / is a great tractor (Thank you John Deere!) and this year's planting videos were really good. But the most important thing to remember is...Never, ever take for granted the time you get with the people you find riding on the buddy seat.

Your gonna miss that RX, I have a 2016, 9570RX with the 36 inch tracks. Deere hooked me by letting me demo this machine and I was sold. One of the young guys at the COOP got all us old guys watching you. Keep up the good work on showing what the farm life is about.
