Handmade drinking glass from wood | Make wooden tumbler from reclaimed wood | DIY woodworking

I made a set of drinking glasses from reclaimed wood. I found a small eucalyptus log and turned it into a wooden highball glass and a smaller wooden rocks glass. Each wooden tumbler was turned on the lathe, sanded and polished and took around 2 hours to complete. The beauty of something handmade is not how fast it can be made but rather how unique each and every piece is. I've used an Italian food-safe polish from ICA to protect the wooden tumblers. This should make it completely safe for hot beverages and cocktails. After completing this set of 2 wooden tumblers, I made a few variants from black sirish, birchwood and patterned plywood. Drinking glasses from wood are pretty durable and don't break easily like glass. You can buy these wooden tumblers from my store below.

Beautiful work, very nicely done. I like the plain Eucalyptus ones the best, that simplicity is what appeals to me.
