There seems to be some error in your assessment of the Hong Kong Stock Market's performance. The 2002 LOW for Hang Seng Composite was 8859. The 2022 Low for the same to date is 18415. The 2002 High was 11975 and the 2022 High was 24966. All time High was 33154 in 2018.
