Interesting knife. I’m a huge benchmade fan but this knife hasn’t been on my list of knives to get. But definitely appreciate all that goes into this knife. Pocket clip is a great design

Cold Steel 6inch "Hello there little guy."
BM 4.5inch "Am I a joke to you?"
Cold Steel [laughing hysterically] "I'm the XL model, meet my XXL brother!!!"

I have 2 Benchmade knives. A pagan auto dagger and a 63 balisong. They are both great knives. Check linos sheath works, he makes great kydex balisong sheaths. They really do make the knife great, for EDC. I will not be buying any more Benchmade products. Due to their stand on 2A. I have several ColdSteel knives. CS is pro 2A and not bashful about it. As far as large folding knives go. I have the Rajah 2 and the Espada XL. They're both built like tanks. I prefer the Rajah 2 as a survival knife. The Espada XL is a beast. Very easy to carry though, because it is thin. Both wave or flick open with inertia equally well. As large as the Espada XL is, it deploys very very quickly. If you have had defense training with knives or batons, and pick up a Rajah 2 or an Espada XL. You will see what I mean, what a beast fighter. The Rajah 2 feels somewhat like a tomahawk, that can stab too. The Espada XL handles like a baton with a Bowie knife on the end. Laugh if you want, but a small knife will never be a large one. Lots of reach!

Nice knife.
I was considering one myself because some of the features / design of it I really like. Then I looked at the price and then found out it uses D2 steel....which besides being one of the cheaper steels on the market, it can vary wildly in durability, edge-holding, strength, rust-resistance and so on from lot to lot. D2 can be a real crap-shoot. If it's formulated, treated and ground right, it can be a fairly decent knife steel with excellent edge holding ability and decent toughness, though its not very corrosion and shock resistant.

But still, I mean jeeze...maybe if they had used an S30V or even something like a 3V steel I could forgive the price. D2 is NOT a "bad steel" - it's been around since WWII for a reason... But in this application? that price is redonkulous for a mass-produced folder knife.

The dagger comes with a pocket clip - it works amazingly well.

This knife reminds me of a thinner and more benchmade version of the cold steel counterpoint or hold out. It'd be interesting to see a similar clip on the counterpoint series of knives.
