Obito Uchiha (AMV) - Done With Everything

Today is a very busy day, so we’re starting the videos quite early (yes, for me it’s just past midnight). Today, we have a double feature with Naruto. First up, we’re celebrating a dear friend of mine, Masquerade. Over the past year, we’ve grown very close, and I now consider him one of my closest friends in this community.
I had initially planned to do Yubel for him, but in the end, I decided to focus on a villain who hadn’t yet made an appearance on the channel rather than doing a remake. So here we are with Obito: an incredibly complex villain with a deeply intricate story. He’s a classic example of Naruto villains: fallen heroes, tragically abandoned to vengeance, seeking an inner peace they can never truly achieve.
Obito has various aliases throughout the series, and making this video while balancing everything was madness. I hope I’ve done a decent job of presenting my personal take on the character. His fight with Kakashi is undoubtedly one of the best, with its interplay between the present and the past.

This is just an AMAZING GIFT! Obito is really my favorite villain in Naruto. I like his backstory in which he loses his best friend and a loved one who believed in him. His battles were really amazing, especially his battles with Kakashi. This song is perfect for him showing all his sides and past. Thank you so much for this wonderful gift, this is the best video that you have created, you really did the job of adding his tragic story. I also honestly admit that it is a great honor for me to be your best friend. Thank you again very much for this gift!

I think above all else this video cements to me that Obito should have been the final antagonist of Naruto. He is essentially a version of Naruto that gave up on his friends, and ultimately losing faith in humanity. I think you showed his story perfectly, from tragic beginnings to bitter ends, accentuated with powerful editing. You did amazingly, I'm sure Masquerade Den is proud.

Awesome birthday video for Masquerade! I didn’t see enough of Naruto to see Obito, but I heard a lot about him and he definitely seems like a very interesting tragic villain especially given how I really like the general type of Naruto villains I have seen so far. One of my favorite villains, more so because him and Naruto share the same story, only difference is that Obito is directly linked to Naruto's backstory making him the ultimate threat.

One of the fundamental themes of the entire _Naruto_ series is that, ultimately, the _true_ villain is the messed-up world and the flawed system of nations and villages that grew out of that world. Conflict between brothers is mirrored in conflict between nations, and the people who lay down their lives to protect those they love leave behind a painful emptiness that drives further conflict and loss, and the wheels just keep turning.

_Every_ antagonist across the entire series, right from the first arcs, was warped by that corrupted world - and Obito is no exception. Because of the long-simmering conflict between his home and the neighboring lands, he was effectively drafted as a soldier as a kid, only to be gravely wounded and left for dead; then, when he was brought back from the brink of death and had regained enough strength to return home, he witnessed his best friend stabbing his childhood love through the heart.

_No one_ could go through what he did without _breaking._ Even if his actions are still _monstrous, _ there's a _tragedy_ to him that's shared with several other great antagonists in the series - ordinary people, broken down by a cruel and callous world, who became something _worse_ just to _survive._

Amazing Work! This was truly great Obito is really my second favorite character for him being a adorable and funny character to being a great threat to the characters the song is definitely great. Happy Birthday to Masquerade

In a fic named "The Catalyst", Rin survived Kakashi, and fought Obito during the night of the attack.

She vowed never to forgive him after finding out who he was. After realizing the time she spent healing and strengthening herself in his memory...Had a grain of salt to them. And the author confirmed she goes through the vow.

Another fic I should have mentioned here is "The Daemon of Pain". In that fic, Pain turns Obito into one of his Paths. Best decision he made.

I mean, Pain still goes to war against the world, but he also starts behaving more human again. He has a kindred relationship with Naruto, and is reaching out to Konan again. He also sees Jinjuriki as people to be educated under his ways, not tools to be used and disposed of.
