This is my doctor at Cleveland Clinic. She is treating me for GCA. My treatment is going very well. I was taking the ACTpen which worked perficttly, , but because of other health complications I could not continue this treatment. Dr. Villa Forte is working to get me on the right treatment that will keep me on track. She's an awesome doctor and I'm blessed to have her.

I’m a very healthy 62 yo male and my temporal vessels are noticeably swollen and I have an unrelenting head ache at my temp crest. Coffee and a super hot bath gave me some relief. I have no visual symptoms yet and have a full day of surgery . Would you think starting on steroids now would be ok? I can get sed rates and c r proteins later.
