'Strordinary! Irish pipers usually wear the saffron kilt, and the repertoire was a mix of Scottish and Liverpool Irish. Mightn't we have heard The Wearing of the Green, at least?

Some mixed up individuals with their heritage here. Scottish highland dress and tartan? Irish! Plain saffron kilts, green socks with saffron flashes, black shoes with buckles, caubeen headress with a bit of a shamrock sprig as a minimum. It's like the plastics parades in NY and Boston

The Rose of Allendale-thought by many to be an Irish or Scottish song but is neither. The words are English and the tune is originally German(I know this because I am sad!).

The bagpipes are Celtic. Nor Scottish nor Irish and not from Galicia either, they are Celt. Understood ? Any celt culture has the right to play it and consider that it belongs to them. I feel kinda stupid having to explain this because I'm from Argentina but looks that you don't read enough

Playing Great Highland Bagpipes from Scotland dressed in Scottish Highland uniform, this as Irish as an Australian didgeridoo!!

This is more a copy of the Scots, the rowan tree? now that is Scottish along with the uniforms I just don't get it but I shall accept it as a compliment to Scotland :-)

What's that tune they're playing after "The Rowan Tree"?

Scottish pipes, Scottish tartan, Scottish kilts, Scottish sporrans. All very strange as a demonstration of Irishness.

i was once told that the bagpipes were given to the Scots by the Irish as a joke

Love Irish and Scottish pipe music but why are they wearing Scottish highland dress when they should be wearing black brogues with silver buckles, saffron or black kilts with dark green or black jackets and dark green headress, This is an Irish pipe band wearing Scottish highland dress!! that does not make sense and from a musicians point of view they should be more in tune and playing far tighter as a group than that... constructive criticism....

They are playing Scottish Bagpipes, dressed in Scottish uniforms and playing Scottish tunes because Irish uniforms don’t look as good as Scottish uniforms do.

Nothing wrong with the tunes but the pipes need to be in tune and the pipers need to be on the same notes at the same time. Some are 3 notes behind. It makes the band sound awful
