I constantly have issues with mine, as does a work colleague. Several times mine has needed to be left for a week for the power to deplete then charged a day before it will turn on. I don't use it for anything other than a scribble pad as I don't trust it. I won't buy another.

Same problem i had with my remarkable 2.

Solution: As soon as you plug in the wall charger, push the start button repeatedly.

Note that it has to be a type A to type C cable , it will not work with C to C cable

What was the conclusion? Software issue? I've just ordered one and wondering if I should bother unboxing it

Mine won't charge. I used other cables besides the one that came with the tablet, and it says it's out of battery.
