With just RxSwift, TableView animations is difficult to achieve and also it's hard to configure table view section with Header text. Also configure multiple type of cells is a challenge.

RxCommunity is vast and has so many helpful extensions to RxSwift. One of them is RxDataSources which solves all of the problems mentioned. You can animate a tableview cell on reload, insert, update or delete. You can customise and configure different cells based on requirement. You can add sections to TableView and configure Header. This can be done with pretty less amount of code. This episode demonstrates all that.

thanks for this!

with your guidance I was able to use RxDataSources in my app, but I have a question:

I'm using a UICollectionView, but I can't find a way to use RxDataSources to define X items for specific X sections with no header.

Previously using numberOfItemsInSection from UICollectionViewDataSource, I was able to calculate the items per section based on how many items were in my array, but with RxDataSources, I cannot do that.

I'm also trying to do sizeForItemAt, minimumLineSpacingForSectionAt, and with RxDataSources.

Is this library capable of doing this also?

I understand you get money from ads, but TWENTY of them in a single video? It's so annoying...
