Warning: DO NOT BUY OLINE BRAND PRODUCTS. They are in the comment section of this video spamming it with comments and thumbs up to make it look like they are real customers. This is a scummy tactic and had I known this was a brand that used these types of tactics, I never would have picked a product from them. I'm sorry. -RB

I'm still recommending the Mellet to folks who've asked for budget recommendations to this day. A great chair for the price point it's at. Nice to see it's hit your budget #1.

I'm using IKEA MArkus chair on work and it's awesome. I'm working as programmer and I have 8 to 10 hour shifts and I've never felt bad after getting out of it. I recommend it 100% The arms align with my table at work so I'm not bothered at all.

Thank you so much for this type of video it took me months to pick out a chair due to being nex to impossible to try these out in person. But the detailed info you provided in these videos has been EXTREMELY helpful and my back and posture thank you.

I have a 13y/o Ikea Markus, and apart from slightly ruined fake leather, it's still going strong. Paid 150euro at the time. Today you can pick one under 170. I actually prefer this style of armrests, since they are very solid and metal, and i prefer to allign my desk with the armrests, not the other way around. Soon i'll be buying new furniture for an apartment, and i'll get another Markus, and a desk with the right height.

this is the video that helped me make the decision to finally pull the trigger on the branch task chair. i don’t have a great frame of reference because the desk chair i was using prior was like, $50 (and absolutely felt like a $50 chair) and the chair i use at the office is a haworth fern (nice but way out of my price range).

got the task chair when it was on sale for $209 and after a few months i’m really happy with it. obviously not as aesthetically pleasing or comfortable as the haworth at the office but absolutely worlds better than the budget chair i was using previously. i don’t notice it on the days when i’m sitting for long periods of time without getting up.

tldr: thanks for helping me find a solid desk chair for a reasonable price

This is the video I needed! Don’t have the money yet for a good chair, so just needed something to hold me over for a few years while working from home. Thank you BTOD! You guys are the best!

BTOD has brought this up in other videos but the Ticova is available at multiple prices. The most common price is around $169 but there is often a discount available. They've had a $50 discount for the last few weeks so the chair would only be $109 which is a great price. I would also add in Colamy Kirin for about $139 which they've since reviewed as another great option.

Finally, for first time in my life, went to an Ikea just yesterday. Tried all the office chairs. A few were 'almost', but none if them quite got it right, imo.

Curious what your review of the Branch ergonomic chair would be, though slightly higher than this range at $329, probably going to land on most people's radars when looking online.

I kinda miss the background music from the older videos from 2020-2021. Otherwise, this is a pretty good and helpful video!

You should put some time stamps on this video which indicate which chair is being talked about.

DO NOT BUY THE CLATINA. The chair breaks and you go to contact them and their contact number is disconnected and their email bounces back. I'm fighting with amazon now to try and get a refund.

Love the vids BTOD, would love in future vids if yall give seat width dimensions, as a heavier wider person these descriptions help alot and most time amazon descriptions dont cover these, the one main concern about the Mellet, which does cover my weight the seat is only 19.5' and looks pretty tight compared to the ticova. any extra advice or thoughts on this?

Hey there. I'm looking for a chair for short women. Most chairs are for (tall) men. Does anyone have recommendations?

Please can you do an EU centric list? Its great having these options but so many of the recommendations just don't exist in the EU or even are in the same price bracket...

Just bought the ticova Chair. With signing up for the credit card, getting $60 off from ticova and $150 off from a free Amazon gift card, I only paid $54 for that chair. Hopefully it’s great! I’m hearing good things about it. I appreciate the video.

the IKEA Markus is actually incredibly cheap here compared to the price in this video. I will definitely try it when we finally find the time to visit IKEA again, possibly just going to straightup purchase in on the spot. My current chair is bottomed out entirely and I've just been stacking IKEA garden chair pillows on it to keep it comfortable and it doesn't recline at all, leading me to assume a very unhealty position when I do try to (eventually just set up something to lay on where I can still see my monitor well enough to watch youtube).

If my budget was $300 for a chair and I wanted the best quality/comfort I could get I would try to find one of those office furniture liquidators. Most major cities have them. Get a lightly used commercial chair that would cost $800-900 new rather then spend $300 for a new one. Sure you won't get a warranty but it will probably outlast the new $300 one.
