In this video, I combine the previous tier lists I made for the separate paths into one giant tier list that covers every single unit in Honkai Star Rail. I also take this time to make some adjustments and explain my reasoning for some placements. I hope you enjoy!

Fu Xuan is definitely not meta 💀 her being above Aventurine, Gallagher and Huo Huo is not it

about the whole Aventurine vs fu xuan situation, as someone who has both, I think aventurine is just better. i haven't really used fu xuan since I've gotten aventurine because his shield just never goes away while with fu xuan, yes she is unkillable, but that doesn't mean the rest of the team wont die. also this is mainly me talking about keeping the team alive, not about any buffs/debuffs they bring to the team.

You already know the fanbase just absolutely glazes female characters when they put Fu Xuan above Aventurine.

I'm sorry but Aventurine is literally the best sustain option for literally 2 of the best dps in the game (Acheron, Dr. Ratio) by just having debuff, can sustain a lot better than Fu Xuan and not die in like 1 heavy AoE hit, a lot more SP positive and actually does damage, even if he's E0S0 still does more dmg than Fu Xuan especially if you have Robin, I know that damage one is small but it still counts. The only viable team option for Fu Xuan is mono quantum, or if you have sparkle or if you just need crit, while Aventurine is absolutely viable in any sort of debuff OR FuA team (Again, Acheron and Dr. Ratio) which are completely meta type teams.

With more FuA characters coming in the future, this tierlist is gonna age like milk in such short matter of time.

Having seen the previous lists to understand the reasonings behind each placement, basically everything here seems to make sense. I've seen several arguments in other places such as Boothill > Firefly, or that Sparkle is falling off as more playstyles that aren't Hypercarry are being pushed, but since the meta is tailored to Firefly right now and Sparkle presently is still THE go-to support for basically every Hypercarry setup I think their placements are justified. I even agree with some of the more controversial takes like Fu Xuan > Aventurine, and while I do feel that DHIL > Jingliu I don't think it's a great enough difference to matter too much.

Yunli seems almost guaranteed to enter "The Meta" tier with just a little more proof to better show her performance without content tailored to her. Huohuo I could also see moving up, epsecially if more characters that need Energy are released, more enemies/bosses that spam nasty debuffs exist, or if some change is made that makes Abundance sustains more favorable to Preservation sustains. If she doesn't rise, she'll probably end up being a bit of a gatekeeper, keeping anyone below her out of the top tier.

For some more hypothetical future changes, I think Topaz seems likely to move up if/when summons get more support, Herta/Jade and maybe even Argenti could move up if PF became more challenging/demanding, most of the Break team could fall down if Break ends up running into issues or falls off, Jingliu I could see falling off as more insanely good supports are released, and as weird as it feels to say I feel like Acheron is the most likely to fall out of "The Meta" out of every DPS there (though with Jiaoqiu's release I think it'll be a while before that can happen). Again though, this is all just hypothetical.

I do wonder what the list would look like if each 5 star was taken at E1S0 or E0S1, since those can often fix fundamental issues with certain characters like Huohuo turning SP Positive with her E1 or make characters improve dramatically like Sparkle/Robin/Black Swan/Acheron, though I don't see a list like that being too useful since most 5 stars can be made "Meta" with enough vertical investment anyways.

All in all, good list.

yo you are sleeping on Xueyi, she's got a flexible ult, Asta is still really good for niche comps, same as Hanya, Qingqu is of course the wild card, I hear recently Guinaifen's been working in certain teams as well

Bronya is better than sparkle, bronya outperforms her in some teams in other teams sparkle gets replaced with robin

I Honeslty think this tier list is very very good. I only have to things I would change, luka should be one tier higher and Acheron is better than firefly. Luka yes is single target and a 4 star but his vulnerability debuff plus the damage he can do is actually pretty good. I use him with my Acheron as a sub DPS it’s Jiaoqiu and Gepard or Gallagher depending on how comfy I want to play. He does a good 30-50k with his ult if debuff and stuff is applied and does 18k on average with enhanced basic especially when breaking, not to well built either. Him being nihility is an extra for my Acheron. And then I think Acheron just does more damage than firefly in general and is much easier to use. I mean that may be bias but that’s my opinion

honestly robin is better than ruan mei, and i truly believe she is the bst character in the game. i feel like over time more and more people will come to realize this especially once they pull on her upcoming rerun.

Xueyi being below Blade is really the only one I have a problem with, just because of your reasoning. Her Ult and FUA do colorless toughness damage, and while she does prefer quantum weak for her skill, she still does well into imaginary and fire weak due to the large amount of toughness Gallagher and HMC do when running the super break comp. She does require higher quality Relics due to being hybrid break instead of pure like FF and BH, but what 4 star dps doesn’t in games like this?

I agree with everything but Sparkle really she’s been getting less relevant as time goses on and even Broyna and Tingyun are getting more use.
