I have one. Hotdam I recognized that it was silver so I looked it up and found that 64 was the last year that they were silver. I naturally assumed that it must not be silver. I still saved it. I'm going to double check it when I get home.

I've seen saving change for over 40 years & am a server. I have 2 huge buckets of just quarters from 1970 or earlier. I'm scared I will cash in a valuable coin. Way to many to remember.

Story is…. I went to a coinstar machine @ my local grocery store where I emptied my huge bag o coins, some coins are rejected and you can collect them in the coin return slot. I’ve found that a lot of people don’t check the coin return slot after they make their deposits. I happened to collect my rejected coins and found a silver quarter from said year! I held on to it because I felt the value, I immediately knew it was made of silver. I just didn’t know how much it was worth until now!!!!

My work makes the material for U.S. quarters & dimes, dollars and some foreign currency that goes to the mint .. did you know that when we aneal the copper we have a two day window to get it bonded .. love your channel !!!!
