Gambits rule of thumb: If you can't spell it you can't defend against it

Admit it: you're just making this stuff up as you go.

Next up: Wackdallader's Gambit. Sometimes it transposes into the Roschkeklenbecher Gambit. Know this line!

I really start enjoying your channel because of all the uncommon gambits you play. Even if they probably aren't 100% sound, they seems to be much fun for blitz and bullet games and can easily catch an unprepared opponent off guard. So Keep up the good work!

Really love that you differentiate yourself on these kinds of games. Don't see many people playing chess like the old masters used to!

Okay, I just had to say this; I should have said it a few days ago.

The crazy French position you had in the 3-0 Viewer Swiss last Saturday in response to your Ortho Schnapp (Zolpi-Noblivion) was me. I blundered my queen at the end of the opening and resigned.

You said some pretty complimentary things about me during the stream, but I was playing, so I didn't see them, and then I was afraid to look because of how badly I played. =D

I hold you entirely accountable for that performance, Mr. Schrantz. If you recall, when you showed the French line where you played Rc8, I commented and said that I'd never played the French, but you inspired me to try it. Since then, I've been scoring around 65-70% with it.

Then, I saw this video. And when we played last weekend, you played 1) e4, and I played 1) ..., e6 without even thinking. Then you played 2) c4, and my mind snapped back to this video. I knew that Qb3 was coming, followed by Bc4 after the pawn trade, but I blanked the rest of the video and forgot the line, so I couldn't refute it.

Based on your comments about my play, I had to thank you...but I also had to say that assuming I had prepped that line was giving me too much credit. I was just scared because I knew half of what was coming, and I was trying to avoid that intuitively while making adjustments on the fly.

But...when you castled, all of my pins were broken and my position collapsed. And then I blundered my queen and, in the words of Finegold, I insta-super-resigned. Because "there's good and there's not good, and that ain't good."

But I still hold you accountable! You're a very sly chicken, sir, Vampiric or otherwise. Great game, though.

*Sigh* I'm done now. Sorry it's so long, and bless you if you read this far. =D

I shall prepare, and in the words of the infamous Dr. Claw..."I'll get you next time, Gadget."
