If this is genuine footage that, at least to any sort of degree, disproves or goes against what CM Punk said? Then it'll be amazing television. But if it is ANY sort of troll job or misdirection? Then it will be remembered as late WCW Russo-level nonsense and people will rightfully put AEW on blast for it

There’s a few things I don’t understand about airing this CCTV footage, if it is true.

1: It’s sending a conflicting message. Why have Copeland open your show to address the interview with “hey, just enjoy ALL wrestling”, then to do something like this? Sure you can make the case they need to defend their rep BUT dedicating TV and production time/money to this doesn’t come across as fiscally sound.

2: Why are the Bucks commenting on the footage? In all the rumours and reports I’ve read, the Bucks themselves have never personally come up connected to Brawl In. Why bring in two people with a vested interest to talk about a situation neither are personally connected to at a first person basis?

In short, it’s going to be a work. It has to be. Anything other just doesn’t make any sense.

Nowhere in that graphic does it mention CM Punk, I feel like this is more likely to be something related to FTR being that All In was the last time they had a match with the Bucks.

It's a work...they'll air the footage of their match with FTR. I haven't seen anything from AEW that said they're airing Punk footage...only they're airing footage from All In. SRS, Meltzer, and others are reporting it's Punk footage.

This is pure and utter desperation. What is funny is everyone saying "Punk said his side, it's time to move on, past this." Well, clearly Tony and the Bucks are not ready to move on. Now he's going to attempt to "Punk" for ratings. They know there is no way in hell they'll be presenting the backstage footage people would actually want to see. It's going to be about FTR and the Bucks, but this is still a sad attempt to get ratings and attention.
