US Census data: Florida is fastest growing state

Looks like everyone is packing up and heading to Florida.

The third-most-populous state just became the nation's fastest-growing state in the nation, according to the U.S. Census Bureau's Vintage 2022 population estimates released Friday.

It's the first time the state has reached the mark since 1957. The historic milestone comes after decades of rapid population increase, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Will Orlando exceed more then 1, 000, 000 people by the year 2040? They need the second professional sport besides the NBA, and so does San Antonio Texas, if the population will be more then 2, 500, 000 by the year 2040, and Texas will be the fastest growing state, besides Florida.

Just moved to tampa bay because of a 1-year contract job (I did not have a choice where the contract job would take me). I hope it turns into FTE at the end. I grew up in Maryland so Florida feels way too conservative for me, especially as a gay man.
