Companies Not Chosen By Santa Monica Protest By Shutting Down Scooters

Bird and Lime have shut off their scooters across Santa Monica in protest of the city choosing Uber and Lyft for a new pilot program. Kandiss Crone reports.

What right do these companies have using every inch of public land as their market place? Can i sell apples on every corner?
This garbage is social intimidation and is favored by young aggressive males.

The state is trying to get people to stop using there cars so much, SO NOW YOUR GOING AFTER SCOOTER OWNERS, LEAVE THEM ALONE. You say they don't follow the rules of the road, REALLY ?? People that ride BIKE'S, don't follow the rules of the road either !! I like the electric scooters. NIT PIC AT EVERYTHING, don't they? People have learned to outsmart your ldeas, City Council members. ☺
