Oasis Heathen Chemistry [Full Album] (Mike's 2024 Remaster)

Today I’m dropping my remaster of Heathen Chemistry. As I've said before, the more we move forward on Oasis’ career, the harder it gets to make any meaningful improvements to the recordings. This is a finely mixed and mastered album, no questions about it. In my opinion, Hung In A Bad Place is the song that most benefited from the remaster, as its drums have always been buried in the mix a tad too much.

I kept the same approach of rebalancing the instruments of each song using AI de-mixing technology, bringing back some of the transients on the drums, de-harshing some guitars and rebalancing the bass on some tracks. Very few and sparse movements needed on this one.

On a side note, the B-Sides from this era are so, so good… I got myself listening to Getting Older several times in a row... Aren't we all? :)
