I wish I could be convinced. I’ve been practicing and searching and seeking for 10 long, horrible years.
Several peak experiences which were of course wonderful and sometimes hilarious as I’m sure you’re aware.
Upon returning home and finding I never actually left or went anywhere. That prodigal son story moment was hilarious but it only stayed for a few hours. The blissed out, hilarious, sobbing tears of joy and gratitude moments came and went and early on became an obstacle. That was eventually seen through tho.

Everyone talks about bliss and absolute freedom and no suffering and so on but when I am aware of being aware, nothing is there, at all.
No bliss, no love, no nothing.
Who wants bliss and love I might ask?
the mind does I suppose. It’s Always craving experience(s)
Idk. My head is in the tigers mouth so it’s too late to give up. I’ve tried and hours later I’m consuming videos or meditating or whatever again.
No doer has been seen several times too but never stabilized.
Awareness is always stable, free and no suffering can be found there, but no bliss, joy or happiness is there either. I don’t get it.

Beautiful. Is this your voice? The peace in this voice is part of the depth of hearing it. And the music. All of it. Thank you. Listening to it with a friend whose awakening has been happening over the course of at least 20 years of severe illness. She knows this is happening and seems at the tipping point of full immersion. May she be blessed with an awakening that is this beautiful. She has shared the extreme pain, the anxiety, etc that Nisargadatta described. The pain revisits in intense episodes as it burns out the perception of ego self. Sometimes for days. She is a blessed one. So wise and good. She enjoyed this video. (I am not writing about myself; it is a gift to me to see what these changes are like for this person whom I met when she was barely alive). Now she is about to begin a new phase of life. We’ll see what form that will present 🦋🪷
