Another verse that relates to this is Colossians 3:23-24 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." No matter what we are doing we are called to work at it with all our heart and to the best of our ability. Hey Ruslan, I've been thinking about this a lot. I am very ambitious and sometimes I wonder if it isn't right to be. But I have a lot of energy, creativity, and have been working on a project on the side. I know in my heart there is no issue with God, but didn't have the Bible verses to back it up. I really like the idea of the Protestant work ethic too. Awesome video.

its easy to get the wrong idea if we're not careful... yes, hard work in providing a service & ambition in said work is the way but as James later points out - selfish ambition and especially a combination of envy over others & selfish ambition together must be avoided.
