The term "warehoused" refers to refugees trapped in border camps for ten years or more without the right to work, generate income, move freely or choose their place of residence.

The feature-length documentary, “Warehoused”, gives an intimate look at the plight long-term refugees face. Our lens focuses on the daily life of and unique challenges endured by refugees living in Dadaab, the world’s largest refugee camp. The story follows several people as they try to carve out an existence in a temporary, now turned permanent, residence that will serve as a microcosm for the often forgotten millions of refugees living all over the world. The documentary “Warehoused” reveals the vital role of nations and organizations in the lives of millions of people in search of home. These International communities have lent a short-term hand, but the long-term refugee crisis is the hardest to cure.

UN has to take strong action bilaterally as well as multilaterally. Common man has to reach out with humanitarian help to at least one refugee for rehabilitation in respective vicinity and to devote at least one hour to send factual data to UN agency as part of advocacy. However, UN has to play major role in rehabilitation.
