Exactly what I was looking for in a review. 10/10. Great info

Those 4 metal screws on 11:30 each corner losses that hold the plastic bottom plate, put in a extra 1/4" bold or cold shoe 1/4" in the middle, turn it on or hot glue it. Than put the bottom plate back in, and on you go your mount connection for tripod. I like to use it for gopro and extra monitor or a phone as monitor. But still i dont like it be plastic holder. If the plastic is sturdy instead of metal. Succes with your DIY

I want to get this unitl I can afford a better stabilizer for my camera. It looks like I can use it on my phone and camera. How "stabil" is the footage with this, i.e., will it depend on how steady one can keep his or her body or gait? Thanks.

I have the Zeadio stabilizer for my HC-VX981K and it works well. Attached two RGB lights and a Rode GO 2.

Why would you want to attach the stabilizer to a tripod? If you are using a tripod you don't need the stabilizer. Just attach the camera to the tripod.
