I tried stitch fix. If you don't buy anything you are charged a $20 styling fee which pushes you to buy an item I found selections to be cheap and overpriced. Once I justified buying a $30 100% polyester Vintage performance T-shirt because in the end it was only 10 bucks. I was finished with Stitch fix at that point. KUDOS to all that find the service excellent it is a great way to supplement and build a wardrobe. It just didn't work for me.

This is one of the best things I have ever seen in my life. I can't stress how much I would love to subscribe to Stitch Fix. Unfortunately, I live in Italy.

So far I've liked that you're not beholden to sponsors and your opinions seem genuine. I hope you don't go the way of the big style YouTubers and lose your objectivity. Not knocking sponsors but your viewership has come to expect a certain level of editorial independence.

But alas all the clothes and shoes you buy for the channel cost 💰.

Keep up the good work . Your objectivity has been the secret sauce. Don't lose that.

Jon, I think your break-outs might be due to consumption of diary. Some people find cutting milk and cheesy stuff from your diet helps with recurring spots on the face... Another short and sweet review, keep up the good work.

Loving that Scotch & Soda jacket. Nice picks—you can tell your Stylist gets you!

Caban jacket looks nice, I'm tall too and for some reason that is a nice length. I love field jackets too.

I use stitch fix. As my wardrobe grows most of the holes get filled so, with each box I seem to buy lesz

I’ve found StitchFix to be more miss than hit and I really want to like their service. I’m around six StitchFix boxes in and I rarely do more than keep a few of their (Hawker Rye) shirts.

Sizing is sporadic for me. Sometimes, it’s accurate and other times it’s too small depending on the company.

The company also seems to have a habit of sending me items which are pretty far outside of my comfort level despite me communicating with them about it and attaching a Pinterest account with preferred items which I screen shotted from their app via the Style Shuffle.

I’m awaiting a new StitchFix box in February. If it turns out to be a bust, I’m probably going to look elsewhere, or most likely just go back to the mall.

At least at the mall you know how it fits before you leave and you might just catch a special sale.

First off let me say that I liked the concept and idea of the service you were promoting.
That said, I do have issues with the way you went about it. It wasn't until I read in the comments that you said it was a sponsored video.
The idea of a sponsored video is ok.
However, the way you went about it gave the viewer no indication of your relationship with the service.
It just came across as a video for a product/service that use and like.
One of the BIG problems with Youtube, in general, is that MOST creators do not fully disclose their relationship with the products they are talking about.
I know of one tech reviewer whom I follow and watch regularly who's main focus is disclosure.
If he bought a product with his own money he says so if an item is on loan from a manufacturer and is going back, he says so.
He is also very clear that none of his videos are reviewed by anyone before he uploads them, and all his opinions and ideas are his own, and no one has had any input whatsoever in the making or reviewing of a review before he uploads it.
If he doses a sponsored video, (He does a few for Plex) the thumbnail says its sponsor, and he says so right at the beginning.
Honestly about the relationship with the products and services is essential if you want people to continue to watch and respect your opinions.
I know I have a less than stellar opinion of you due to this video and other things I've come across.

Stitch fix looks great but don’t have the money for it right now

As much as I like you, Stitch Fix is the type of service, if not sponsored, I think you would normally say isn’t worth it. I get you gotta get paid, but basically SF is Nordstrom Rack brands at 2-3x Rack prices. Only the most style inept should consider it (ie not the focus of your viewership usually).

I'm way too much of control freak for a services like this but it's tempting to have items I wouldn't normally try land on my doorstep. I'm also a bargain hunter, often waiting for brands I like to go on sale and stocking up. What would you estimate you're paying on average for a typical shirt/pants outfit? (Btw I was a fan of your 'stache.. never cave to peer pressure, man!)

I tried Stitch Fix for two boxes. I found the clothes to be way overpriced for the quality. I figure I can clearance shop on Bonobos, Twillory, Mizzen and Main and other brands you have got me into and get better quality items for cheaper by being a little patient and wait for sales. The last box was full of their new in house brand which was lower price but Target quality. I found Five Four to be better priced for the lower quality stuff. Felt better spending 60 on a couple items rather that 60 on a single item that I just kinda liked.

Great vid as always! Still excited to see that MVST review after you talked about your ultimate travel outfit! Which do you prefer: MVST or Away Aluminum?

My wife gets awesome stuff and keeps her entire box. I'm afraid to do it. Many mens boxes look like Kohls with a 100% markup. I'd want to be presented with new styles that I can experiment with at home not a box of clothing I could match at the mall. Example, I'd never buy a cardigan but if you mailed one to me and I could try it with various other clothing articles I already own well maybe I'll learn to love it. I do a lot of eBay shopping for Jcrew, Lacoste, Levi's and AE jeans because they are what fit me well. I also find crazy nice stuff at Marshalls and TJ Maxx. I think my money is better spent doing it myself and it easily gets me more items for the money. If you don't like shopping and don't mind spending money for a premium service then this is for you. I love when you guys show the brands because I look for them on eBay.

People forget that the site is for stylea. Not to sell cheap stuff. If you try it and you go back then u are in the same spot u was b4. U use the site to learn how to style and build a wardrobe. After that you can stop it

Why the low view count recently? You’ve been putting out great content and have a large number of subscribers....

Couldn't do the box service thing. They typically go cheap on the things you don't want to go cheap on (shoes, coats) and then pricey on the things you can usually get on sale (shirts and sweaters). EXAMPLE : those penguin chukkas are probably $49 at Nordstrom rack and they charge 110.
