Carolina Squat law takes effect in South Carolina

The law passed earlier this year bans most cars driven on South Carolina roads if the front fender is raised four inches or more above the height of the rear fender.

It's not the suspension geometry that makes them unsafe, it's that the squat truck drivers can't see the road for 6/7/8 car lengths in front of them. That's why they're unsafe, but now the laws will trickle down to all lifted vehicles. Squat trucks ruined it it everyone.

Squatting a truck has got to be the dumbest most ridiculous trend that has ever taken the automotive world. I’ve seen some dumb trends but this one makes the car look stupid, handle like crap, ruins your line of sight in front of you, and some idiot actually paid money for it. Another Stupid thing people do to their 4wd, is put the oversized rims on and rubber band tires. Also Lifted Trucks, with oversized tires, for a daily driver, that never will go off road.
