WW2 GERMAN FAITHFUL SERVICE MEDALS 25&40. Gold 40 white 25.

On January 30TH 1938, Hitler instituted the Faithful Service Decoration, in three classes, in recognition of long serving civil servants, and public works personnel. The decorations were intended to be an incentive for the civilian population to foster workplace loyalty and create a stable civil service. The three classes of the decoration consisted of the Special class for fifty years of continuous service with the same employer in the free economic system, the 1ST Class decoration for forty years of service and the 2ND class Decoration for twenty-five years service. All three classes followed the same basic design with minor variations.

I love the use of sacred geometry in ancient cultures being represented in a somewhat modern era. As a Hispanic raised catholic in Idaho I took it upon myself to get the humble silver 25 year medal. I heard about how people wanted to remove civil war statues here in the U.S. and thought I should do my part to remember history. Especially since the sacrifices of WW2 are what inspired my interest in history and embracing the warrior class as a necessity for all societies. Now as a 24 year old I’m doing my part by joining the army and getting into the rangers.
