Very cool travel tripod! I travel with a small gun-grip style folding tripod. It works, but is fully dependent on flat surfaces and is super low. My night shots at Fushimi Inari Shrine were on that small tripod and I wished I had something taller. I also have a cheap “bendable” small tripod that I have started using... but not as much. I like what you have come up with.

Cool travel tripod, looks great too, will keep this in mind, … as a very lightweight multi purpose setup over the last few years have used a Manfrotto Compact Extreme 2 in 1 Monopod with a Pixie tripod with a knurled joiner, has worked well with various small cams :)
