Hopefully they will find a better way other than rocket fuel to reach the escape velocity. Using something more renewable would certainly help the prices go down a lot faster.

I wouldn't pay for a ticket to space until there's somewhere to go. Going up into low orbit for 5 minutes? No matter how small an amount of money it would cost, it wouldn't be worth the time. To me, it's like traveling halfway around the world to see a gig with a band who plays this one song I kinda like. Now, when they start colonies on the moon or Mars, that is a completely different scenario. I'd visit the shit out of those places!

It's good that it's giving them something to spend their money on. My concern is that all the extra perks would actually end up costing more. Especially if you were to look at the price it would cost different normally people to do all them things individually, added up.
