I have one of these I plan on making some mods to. I borrowed my girlfriends little brothers when I was moving and I was so impressed with how much stuff it held I had to get one.

I've still got mine from Air Force basic training, but it never had the shoulder straps. We didn't call them "seabags" however, just "duffle" bags. It's still holding together well for over 40-years.

I have two of them. I am planning to utilize them as go bags or bug out bags

I've still got my old seabag. I scored one when a dude left and all his stuff was up for grabs, and I wound up getting another one before I got out (in '97). They hold a lot of stuff, but they aren't comfortable to "ruck" with.
