Don't use a nuclear siren for an amber alert... driving on the highway and it goes off...

I never have my data on... So why not send a text message? It seems it doesn't inform everyone.

So there are missing kids but amber alert should be for like someone is shooting or a tornado because there are more missing children but why to everyone

I was driving and my radio and phone were going crazy. I don't want alerts for something far away.

I DID NOT appreciate it! While I can understand the necessity for alerts like this, why did it have to come as if ARMAGEDDON WAS UPON US?!?

I'm about to have a baby in 2 months, and I don't want this thing randomly going off whenever someone goes missing. Send the visual message, but leave the sound out!!! EVEN THE "ALL CLEAR" HAD THAT TERRIBLE SOUND!!!

When we are under attack nationwide by alien invaders, act of WAR, a natural disaster like a Tornado or an exploded Nuclear Power Plant hits us, PLEASE USE THE SOUND WITH THE VISUAL!!

EVERYBODY needs to call 911 after receiving one of these alerts. DO NOT scroll up frm the french version, do not read the message. Just call 911 immediately and ask them to read you the concerns. The May event was sent to people who were a 17 HOUR drive from the scene of the child. CRTC NEEDS to enable opt-out.

Remember CALL 911 EVERY TIME you get one of these messages immediately. It IS an emergency
