One sure fire way to tell an NPC - they can and do have spaces in their names. They all have at least one, two if they have a callsign/nickname. Players cannot have spaces in their names.

Thanks for sharing this video, Farrister! I love this event. But the server performance always makes it extremely difficult for me to enjoy it. Mix in more than a few players who were picking off cargo runners and completion was not possible.

I found the easiest way to complete the Attack phase was to sneak an Arrow underneath the Idris, exit the seat, then clip through the hull. I generally ended up in the Argo bay or briefing room.

Once inside, it was child’s play to take out the leader or just grab the pilot seat and hit self destruct to complete the mission. I just wore a noob suit with a rifle and looted the Xenos onboard.

I've been having a great time with XT this time around. The CTA aUEC alone is crazy. Right now, I'm keeping a Hornet MkII and a Buccaneer out there so I have something to hop into while waiting on the claim for the other if I get deleted.
I was also part of the second HH group on Sunday. Love that top turret. The Rhinos are nice, but swapping them out for M6As makes them even nastier.

I blew up instantly by a F7C pvp player. It was lame so I gave up on Xenothreat.
PS> set your powertriangle in the HH to full shields.

Simple rule: Ship fires at you, YOU fire back IMMEDIATELY

Using more power on your shields will make your shield's resistances way higher. You don't have pilot weapons anyways on the Hammerhead. Cool video!

First time playing xenothreat and It ran perfectly with no issues. Was super excited as I have never done the even before. It hasn't worked right anytime since my first time though lol. Glad I had fun the first time at least.

I would have tried to fly a Hammerhead into the Idris's hangar. Watch the chat fill up with wannabe ace pilots rage that they couldn't pull off some cool stunt from Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (classic) because I glitched a hammerhead into the Xenothreat Idris.

Farrister! Hey, buddy! CMDR J Shepherd here! Did you know one can press "Numpad 8" to increase forward shield strength? In fact, the entire Numpad can be used to orient shield power to the front, back, right, left, top, and bottom via 8, 2, 6, 4, 9, and 7. Press Numpad 5 to reset to equal power distribution.

When your HH exploded there was a big warning lol just before that we could see your front shield completly getting melt down and it was a funny cause at the same time you were saying the shield is fine and kept staying behind the idris :)

Oddly enough, the event was a bit of a clown fiesta, but I found ways to enjoy it.
Surprising to myself, I actually left not wanting to own the Idris, that may change. But, I’ve flown it 3 times myself now it’s fun to be on it and be a part of it, but I don’t think I would want to own it.

I haven't had much luck with Xeno threat the server has glitched and recovered and it seemed like i did more running to my ship then I did in it fighting.
