Thank you for all of you videos. My pre-cal teacher in HS only passed 3 kids in my class ( he was a really bad teacher). Now I'm having to take it again 20 years later. You're a lifesaver.

Thanks man, big help for studying. Just watching what to do and seeing any potential mistakes i’d make is all the help i think i’m going to need. I understand and get most of it, just a lot of info is being crammed into 25 questions for a final (my final) will get all my info mixed up in my head, hopefully this clarifies some stuff

I’m loving this channel so far but I wish there were major playlists like ones for alg1 and alg2 and so on for easier organization. It would help if each of them had a label too. Also, I don’t know what the ADD stands for in the title of the playlists? I am looking forward too watching more

For problem #23 you did alot of unneeded work. You could have left the equation in the factored form and just put the k in front of it and then plugged in the (-1, -52 point) to solve for k. It doesn't matter what form polynomial was in(factored or standard) to solve for k.

thank you so much for this and especially for the time stamps in the description box

For problem #8, wouldn't the answer be A? You're shifting FIRST then reflecting, so you should be multiplying f(x)+4 by -1, getting -f(x)-4

Hold on
Isn’t number 13 b? Because, for example, if I plugged in -3, I’d get
sqrt((-3)^2), which is 3, not -3
If it was d, then it would look like this
Sqrt((-3)^2)=-3, which is not true, so it should be absolute value of x

For number 8 it should be A, right? By reflecting over the x everything is multiplied by -1

Question 8 is wrong!
You got the shifting and reflecting of f(x) in the wrong order according to how the problem is worded.

It says to shift the graph y=f(x) up 4 units FIRST and then reflect the graph across the x-axis SECOND.

The end result should be y= -f(x)-4.

Starting with y=f(x)…

Shifting up 4 units results in y=f(x)+4

Reflecting across the x-axis results in y= -[f(x)+4]= -f(x)-4, where the negative sign gets distributed.
