Norman Lear encourages America to keep the Spirit of '45 alive

Legendary TV and film writer/producer Norman Lear flew more than 50 missions during WWII in a B17 as a gunner and radar man He has been a strong supporter of the campaign to promote public awareness and participation in national Spirit of '45 Day. In this video message taped in 2015, he invites people to take part in events in their communities commemorating the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII.
