Ski Wanaka Weekly - 31/08/2017

It’s been a huge week here in Wanaka with the Audi Quatrro Winter Games kicking off!

We started with some beautiful blue-bird days across the 4 resorts areas before the wind picked up and some cloud and precip came over from the north-west. Warmer temperatures resulted in some great spring-like skiing top to bottom.

Treble Cone has a fantastic cover across the resort with a mix of beautiful groomed runs and fun off-piste riding.

Cardrona has been packed with the best in the world battling it out for the Audi Quattro Winter Games. Ski Slopestyle went down over the weekend with James ‘Woodsy’ Woods taking it out for the men and Kelly Sildaru for the women. Ski halfpipe is up next, check out the schedule here.

It looks like we are in for a few days of scattered cloud before potentially more snow next week!
